I suppose that is a good place to start. I tend to be outgoing, and at times a bit sarcastic... At times, the sarcasm can get me into a little bit of trouble but its all in good fun. When it comes to hobbies, I am a bit of an outdoor fanatic. I like camping and anything to do with the water.
I tend to be a little bit of an adrenaline junkie when it comes to adventure sports. I love white water kayaking and rafting, snowshoeing, hiking, and backpacking. After living at home for a while, I decided to move out. I had gone to SCSU for several years and was a continuing student, while I had lived in East Hartford for about two months. I left the night of Halloween to New Haven with thirty dollars and a hope in my heart.
After living on my buddy's couch for a couple of weeks I sought out downtown in search of a job.
I spent all the way up into the summer living my friend's couch, when I moved out into a house that was across from Yale. My new roommates were interesting and amazing people, and I still see them from time to time. The room was only for the summer, but what a great summer it was.
And on the first of October I got a new place with three roommates. I plan to stay in New Haven until I graduate from college and move out to the west coast to explore America.

I devour the written word and can safely say I'm probably the worst lesbian you've ever met. My brain spends a lot of time kicking around any sort of idea it can get it's wrinkly hands on, but that's something I mostly like to keep under wraps (again with the cards close to the chest) - I much prefer to spend my time listening to others theorize, nodding and making the occasional 'mmmhmm' noise to reassure the speaker that I'm still conscious. I just moved to New Haven from Boston and I am always up for new experiences. I enjoy jogging, working out, dining, and a cold draft. I always make time for my friends and family and a good book. I made a good group of friends in Boston and hope to do the same here. Not much for the formal or fancy brand names, I enjoy discovering things off the beaten path. Meeting new friends and helping the ones I have are what its all about.

I would say that I'm sort of a combination of a musician and a nerd. I play bass, guitar and piano and I also sing (how well I do at any of those is up for debate). I like cartoons, crossword puzzles and board games. I like watching 90s tv shows in syndication. I wouldn't call myself a total girly-girl though I have my moments. I like to dress nicely, but I'm fairly low maintenance. I also think I have a good and quick sense of humor which I find pretty necessary.

Love sports, and anything outdoors. Pretty much make the best out of any situation and enjoy life to the best of my ability. Enjoy traveling, but sometimes its nice to enjoy a nice night in too with the right person.

Whats good Y'all. The name is George. I am 23 years old, and a currently a student as Southern CT State University, as an English major planing on mastering in Theology. As of right now, I am working at a Program called LEAP, which aims to helps kids in the "inner city" develop a love of reading, and social awareness, and I have been there for about 5 years, because I am very passionate about what they do, not to mention I love kids. I also am a leader for YoungLife, which is a little like LEAP, but with the opportunity to be more hands on with the kids we work with, and maybe even share Christ with them if the opportunity presents itself. I Enjoy reading a lot, more so than recent years. I am always looking for a new book to read and enjoy, though most of what I read is informative non-fiction. I also enjoy writing Spoken Word Poetry and Short Stories as a form of self expression, singing any and everywhere I go (been singing since I was 3), playing basketball, and Competitive Gaming When I can. I am a Christian that has learned that he does not know everything. Ok so after searching the site and deep reflection I realized I'm the only jerk not answering questions. I am probably the only person receiving weird matches so...first, my apologies to Cupid and the crew and secondly, a decent attempt at a summary.

Here it goes, I like me a lot. I have no problem hanging out with me all day and all night. I'd rather stay home with me than go out in the rain or snow or too a fancy restaurant with boring people. I like socks and i wear multiple pairs at a time. When I come home from work I blast my music and I dance while fixing dinner. When my roommate unsuspectingly comes home I freeze like the WB frog. I keep a busy schedule not just for the sake of staying productive. Sure I want to get things done but fun is just as much a priority and I don't want to waste a moment if I can help it. I spend most of my time involved in conflict resolution, the (hopefully) non-violent kind. I work as a mediator, which basically means I help people communicate with each other when what they would like to be doing is throwing chairs at each other's heads. I also conduct research in mediation and restorative justice. I've recently become particularly interested in empathy and how we can learn and teach it. I'm definitely a games-oriented type of person (yes, including video games). I love everything from frisbee to ping pong to snowboarding to rock band to rock climbing (but especially Smash Bros. =)! ). I never really liked going to bars but if they have pool or darts and a sweet jukebox selection then I'm down. Drinking is not exactly my favorite thing to do but I do like playing beer pong I have to admit haha. Concerts are fun too, especially down at Toad's Place and at The Space. I love checking out new things whether its going out to a new restaurant or going to see a movie. I love hiking, kayaking and bike trails even though I don't do it as much as I'd like to. Skeet shooting and rifle ranges are a lot of fun too. Really though I'm just a genuinely honest type of guy who likes to have fun wherever I am.

I am a musician who has a very crazy schedule. I am a jazz pianist with a range of interests. I play a lot of different styles of jazz from straight ahead to free jazz. There are numerous jazz groups that I play and record with as well. I also am the bandleader of an Indie Rock Band which I write the music for. My writing for this particular band is heavily influenced by the Beatles, Radiohead, Bjork...etc As a result of these projects I play a lot in Nyc. I live in New Haven and also teach piano lessons, clinics, and play various gigs. Each week is different for me. I like to have fun, laugh, go out, and hang with friends.

Actually the singing thing is kind of a big deal... I'm taking this year off of school to sing semi-professionally, which is super fun (and a great way to postpone graduation).

Uhm interesting tidbits? I used to have a cat named Blob (he was obese), my dad lives in Italy, and I'm a Brazilian citizen but speak no Portuguese.

I'm don't take myself seriously. The only real goal in life is to enjoy it. Here's a story... I walked into a window at the mall a little while back, bounced back about 5 feet, fell on my ass, my shoe broke off and went flying(how?), and there were about 30 people around. I wish someone had caught it on video because it was probably one of the funniest things I've ever not seen. Oh, and then I had to walk barefoot(with one foot) to the nearest store (J. Crew) to buy some sandals, laughing the entire time.

That pretty much sums me up. I can and will laugh at myself, and you most likely. But I will always stick up for you.

I love the work I do. I crave great conversation. I can be sarcastic and sappy in the same breath. Meeting new people is one of my favorite pastimes, talking to them is another. At this point in my life I'm just open to what's new, and what's next.

Do you feel the insatiable desire to see French art films and discuss them while drinking lattees or Dunkin Donuts Coffee if we're slummin' it. Well, I do too;so maybe we should meet. I'll live up to my end of the conversation with some enjoyable banter sprinkled with the occasional insight and listen to you as you talk because I am genuinely interested. If things go especially well we might feel a connection that has everything to do with taking a risk and opening oneself up to another person.

Honestly, i am a very down to earth person. I love to laugh and i am always smiling. One of my passions is singing I absolutely love music...I know what I want out of life. I have always been a straight forward person and I don't play games, it's just not worth it. I would like to find someone with the same mindset as my own. Friends would describe me as a bubbly, intelligent, and compassionate person. I'm usually the first one to make you laugh when your having a bad day. My family and friends are a very big part of my life and I would do anything for the ones I care about. If you want to know more...all you have to do is ask.

ahhh how do you summarize yourself in 100 characters? I guess I'll try, the rest is up to you to figure out. I was born in Chicago, moved to Atlanta when I was relatively young and now after college I find myself in New England.

I've never been one to shy away from change, opportunity,adventure or most importantly taking a risk. I learned at a young age to do things that scared me...if you let fear dictate a large part of your life, it'll put you in a box and the box will only get smaller. I'm a horrible liar - its shows all over my face so I've made it a point to just.not.even.try. I'd like to think of myself as genuinely genuine.

I'm lucky to have meet reallllly amazing and life long friends. Thats even more apparent to me now that I'm thousands of miles away from most of them. I hate talking about myself...seriously I feel uncomfortable. I'm spontaneous....I'd rather do now and ask for forgiveness later. I love to travel, and while it might take a while to go everywhere I want to go (which is mostly everywhere), mark my words it'll happen. I'm loyal and a believer in the ultimate underdog (I'm a cubs fan, enough said...."maybe next year" is something i catch myself saying a lot). Humor is huge component on my relationship with a guy, if we can start out laughing, only good things can come of it. And when I say humor I don't mean knock knock jokes or a mushroom walked into a bar humor, I mean personal real god damn honest wit, which requires intelligence. I guess what I'm looking for is what I haven't been able to find at the bar or coffee shop, which is an real connection. Talk for hours about nothing, knowing what I'm thinking/feeling by the look on my face kind of connection. Best friend, and love.

Things I want to work on, learn to do etc:
Cooking....(Grilled cheese anyone, I'm AWESOME with grilled cheese)
Photography (I've always loved pictures, and the stories told without the need for words...I'd just like to know how to take some beautiful pictures myself. The lens never seems to capture what my eyes see, I'd like to learn how to change that).
Changing a tire....(that's a half hearted one I know, I just don't like the damsel in distress feeling).
