I'm 27, Figuring out the right direction. I find it funny that 95% of people on this site are artists. I too like to think of myself as one even though I'm pretty sure I'm not.

I'm a former sexual deviant with a soft, nougat-y center. I prefer to play my cards close to my chest, but that's only because I have a face that boldly tells it like it is. I devour the written word and can safely say I'm probably the worst lesbian you've ever met. My brain spends a lot of time kicking around any sort of idea it can get it's wrinkly hands on, but that's something I mostly like to keep under wraps (again with the cards close to the chest) - I much prefer to spend my time listening to others theorize, nodding and making the occasional 'mmmhmm' noise to reassure the speaker that I'm still conscious. I just moved to New Haven from Boston and I am always up for new experiences. I enjoy jogging, working out, dining, and a cold draft. I always make time for my friends and family and a good book. I suppose that is a good place to start. I tend to be outgoing, and at times a bit sarcastic... At times, the sarcasm can get me into a little bit of trouble but its all in good fun. When it comes to hobbies, I am a bit of an outdoor fanatic. I like camping and anything to do with the water.
I tend to be a little bit of an adrenaline junkie when it comes to adventure sports. I love white water kayaking and rafting, snowshoeing, hiking, and backpacking. Iâ??m one of those handy lesbians to have around when you are trying to survive in the wilderness with a shoelace and a swiss army knife. I have a soft side too. I love to curl up for a good movie now and then. I can sometimes be a bit of a hopeless romantic, though thereâ??s really nothing hopeless about it. Haha. One of my favorite moments is when you look into someoneâ??s eyes, kiss, and then laugh just because you are so happy to be with them. I suppose that is what I am looking for in a girl, someone who I can share the moments with. Life is about the minutes we have to give and share. Smile, itâ??s contagious.

I would say that I'm sort of a combination of a musician and a nerd. I play bass, guitar and piano and I also sing (how well I do at any of those is up for debate). I like cartoons, crossword puzzles and board games. I like watching 90s tv shows in syndication. I wouldn't call myself a total girly-girl though I have my moments. I like to dress nicely, but I'm fairly low maintenance. I also think I have a good and quick sense of humor which I find pretty necessary.

I love drawing, painting, sculpting, lisening to music they are some of my favorite things to do. I can get cought up for hours. Other than that i love going for hikes, swiming, doing yoga, hanging out with my friends or just relaxing outside (when the weather is nice enough).

After living at home for a while, I decided to move out. I had gone to SCSU for several years and was a continuing student, while I had lived in East Hartford for about two months. I left the night of Halloween to New Haven with thirty dollars and a hope in my heart.
After living on my buddy's couch for a couple of weeks I sought out downtown in search of a job.
I spent all the way up into the summer living my friend's couch, when I moved out into a house that was across from Yale. My new roommates were interesting and amazing people, and I still see them from time to time. The room was only for the summer, but what a great summer it was.
And on the first of October I got a new place with three roommates. I plan to stay in New Haven until I graduate from college and move out to the west coast to explore America.

I am pleased with my BFA theatre production & have a successful career in the field. I was not expecting to be working for a LORT theatre by the time I was 25.

The hazards of having hobby that is also a career result in too much time doing just one thing. I am ambitious and enjoy my work immensely.

Hey, name's Anthony, and I'm 19. Ever since I was really young music has been a huge part of my life, as well as art in general; I've been playing guitar since I was about 9 years old and will play until the day I die. When it comes to music, I typically come off as a "metal head" or whatever you want to call it; although I do play a ton of metal, I love classical, theater, fusion, blues, oldies. Frank Sinatra is always in my cd player lol. Anyways, yeah, I am an artist and I'm not going to sit here and say one form of art is better than the other, or one style of music is harder to play than the other, because I appreciate art in all forms whether it's a classical piece, an essay, a poem, anything. I like to analyze and understand what a certain person was feeling when they were creating something, even if I don't agree with it. So, other than that, hmmm....I'm mostly Italian, which explains my dirty mouth and sense of humor, haha. I laugh at anything, especially stand up comedy. George Carlin is one hilarious MFer. I love the out doors; snowboarding, hiking, swimming, beaches, boats, or just long walks at night. I try to stay in shape as much as I can; physical and mental health are really important to me. I have come to realize that having fun is one of the most important things in life. I just received my masters in social work and am relieved to have a break from school for a while. I grew up in CT and spent time in VT and CO before moving to Boston and now I am back in CT as a social worker in a therapeutic school. I have traveled a fair amount and anticipate doing much more. The best place I have ever been outside the US is to Tanzania, the best place in the US is Glacier Nat'l Park, a personal fave ( although I have an extreme fear of bears). I miss the places I have previously lived, but am enjoying getting to know New Haven. I would love someone who can show me the ropes here though.
I enjoy sports, esp. skiing and pilates or yoga, and would like to get back into rock climbing. I don't love watching all sports, but can be found enjoying a baseball game, especially if I am there in person. I enjoy going out but love staying in, hanging out and laughing with my friends. My interest in music ranges across the spectrum. I am open to new music but rely heavily on my old favorites: Bruce Springsteen, Counting Crows, Belle and Sebastian and most things 90's.

I am a musician who has a very crazy schedule. I am a jazz pianist with a range of interests. I play a lot of different styles of jazz from straight ahead to free jazz. There are numerous jazz groups that I play and record with as well. I also am the bandleader of an Indie Rock Band which I write the music for. My writing for this particular band is heavily influenced by the Beatles, Radiohead, Bjork...etc As a result of these projects I play a lot in Nyc. I live in New Haven and also teach piano lessons, clinics, and play various gigs. Each week is different for me. I like to have fun, laugh, go out, and hang with friends.

I spend most of my time involved in conflict resolution, the (hopefully) non-violent kind. I work as a mediator, which basically means I help people communicate with each other when what they would like to be doing is throwing chairs at each other's heads. I also conduct research in mediation and restorative justice. I've recently become particularly interested in empathy and how we can learn and teach it. Feel free to ask me about any of these things (but understand that if you start that conversation I can and will talk about it for hours).

In addition to throwing myself into highly emotionally charged situations, I spend my time playing with my kittens, teaching medieval dancing, and probably watching more bad tv than I should.

my lazy eye isn't apparent to the general public. i have to coax it into being. sometimes sleepiness will do this or extreme states of boredom. i probably look wistful when i listen to chet baker and try to look cool (unsuccessfully, i'm sure) when i listen to camp lo. in elementary school, the thought of field day would induce ulcer pain but now, i just sort of would like someone to patiently and calmly teach me soccer. or tennis. maybe we could start with badminton? not-so-secretly? i would one day like to be able to run a 5k. i would say that i'm a bibliophile but truthfully, there are times when i go through serious stretches without opening anything (other than the mail) but i do miss it during those periods where i'm very much in my head. most BBC series make me happy and i'm more comfortable speaking in a cockney accent than hearing the lingering traces of the philadelphian in me. i also love the sound of typing. and the feel of pressing buttons (alert! alert! double entendre!!)

I am at college in New Haven, where I spend most of my time. I grew up in Virginia, though, near D.C. I love science, reading, and learning in general, so college is awesome for me. I like to explore, and will often take a different path just to see what's there. I prefer walking/running to driving as a personal preference, but I am also an avid supporter of environmental conservation. When I have a quiet moment, I like to read, and if I want to go out I go dancing, swing, blues, waltz, salsa, or I'll learn something new. I'm still working on my drawing skills, which are pretty bad right now, on the other hand, I recently joined the Yale Russian Chorus, so my singing has definitely gotten better!

My name's Cole and I'm a liberal studies major with some experience in music recording (I'm mostly interested in the production aspect not the playing, but I DJ at my college radio station). I absolutely love music and film (which is why I have my own radio show!) and I think it'd be great to be a critic someday. I have over 20,000 songs and over 200 movies which is probably a bad thing lol but music and film are pretty much my life blood. It always amazes me just how infinitely better music and film from the past is (there ARE some great new movies and music but I would argue nowhere near as MUCH as before...but I digress lol). I love getting into music and film history and watching/listening to all of the classic films and bands that have influenced everybody else. I've been so busy getting all of the classics that I'm slacking on all the new music releases! If someone could help me remedy this situation I would be most pleased :). I'm definitely a games-oriented type of person (yes, including video games). I love everything from frisbee to ping pong to snowboarding to rock band to rock climbing (but especially Smash Bros. =)! ). I never really liked going to bars but if they have pool or darts and a sweet jukebox selection then I'm down. Drinking is not exactly my favorite thing to do but I do like playing beer pong I have to admit haha. Concerts are fun too, especially down at Toad's Place and at The Space. I love checking out new things whether its going out to a new restaurant or going to see a movie. I love hiking, kayaking and bike trails even though I don't do it as much as I'd like to. Skeet shooting and rifle ranges are a lot of fun too. Really though I'm just a genuinely honest type of guy who likes to have fun wherever I am.

I'm my own person. I'm not into what's in. I'm always thinking. Working on answers to questions I have. About why we are here and where we are going. And many more. I often think outside of the box.

I should also say I'm shy and yet outgoing. I love to meet new people and make new friends. I pride myself on not judging others. I'm also sarcastic and become more so the better my mood (a friend noted I should have put this).

Hi! I'm a native-born New Yorker. I live in Chelsea, but I'm a student, so I spend most of the year up at Yale. I enjoy singing, watching TV, hanging out with friends, and drawing (among other things).

Actually the singing thing is kind of a big deal... I'm taking this year off of school to sing semi-professionally, which is super fun (and a great way to postpone graduation).

Uhm interesting tidbits? I used to have a cat named Blob (he was obese), my dad lives in Italy, and I'm a Brazilian citizen but speak no Portuguese.

The daily grind is not for me and that is the way it goes. The possibilities of what to write are endless. Good thing I don't like to write. Currently I am working on my career and enjoying life. For the moment I embrace surrounding myself with positive people. I am working on living life to the fulliest and at the same time figuring out what that means. I guessing it has something to do with smiling, adventure, and delicious food!

Good conversations, whit, humor, and empathy are important. I love to laugh and be sarcastic.

I am also short, sweet, and spicy. I could tell you more about myself but I am a private person at heart. Get to know me...if I let you :)

Well im John I am 22 from new haven. I am 6'1" about 180 italian with black hair and hazel eyes. I have been through alot when it comes to women and am at the point now all i want is something serious and long term. I am a pretty up front and honest person i say what i feel and usually dont feel bad about it afterword unless i say somehting i shouldnt say which i usually dont do. I enjoy sports and getting the chance to enjoy being outside when its not raining for 2 weeks straight lol. I am a respectful person who understands there are boundries and it takes time to become a true friend nothing happens overnight.
